TITLE: Executive Director
ORGANIZATION/AGENCY: Friends of Milwaukee's Rivers

BIO: Prior to working on river issues, Lynn worked for The Nature Conservancy (ten years) and NatureServe (two years). She is especially familiar with issues related to non-profit management, grass roots organizing, and municipal sewage issues.

NAME: Jon T. Grand
TITLE: Director, Office of International Activities
ORGANIZATION/AGENCY: US Environmental Protection Agency Region 5, Office of International Activities

BIO: As Director of the Region's International Activities, Jon has lead responsibility for the design and implementation of the Region's international projects. His background is in the field of water resource management with substantial experience in basin-wide planning and management. I He has worked at numerous levels of government including State, multi-state, and Federal.

NAME: Jason Heath
TITLE: Manager - Monitoring and Assessment Programs
ORGANIZATION/AGENCY: Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO)

BIO: Was involved in the development and played an advisory role in the implementation of Baltics-region Watershed Management Capacity Building Demonstration Projects for the Rivers Parnu, Lielupe, and Sesupe. Involved in watershed management of the Ohio River since 1989. Primary areas of responsibility include TMDLs, wet weather studies, ambient water quality monitoring programs, water quality standards, and 305b assessment. ORSANCO is an interstate water pollution control agency representing Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the United States.

NAME: Sarah Lehmann
TITLE: Regional Monitoring Coordinator
ORGANIZATION/AGENCY: US Environmental Protection Agency Region 5, Water Division

BIO: Sarah has worked for U.S. EPA's Water Program for 9 years.  During that time she has focused primarily on water quality monitoring and assessment issues.  Over the past five years, Sarah has worked closely with the states in the Great Lakes Basin to improve monitoring programs and works to integrate monitoring with other programs.

NAME: Charlie MacPherson

BIO: Charlie has held the position of environmental scientist with Tetra Tech for the past 15 years. She manages projects related to public outreach, stakeholder involvement, and social marketing. She translates technical information into a variety of formats for various audiences.

NAME: Janette Marsh
TITLE: Associate Director, Watersheds and Sustainable Development
ORGANIZATION/AGENCY: US Environmental Protection Agency Region 5, Office of International Activities

BIO: At US EPA, Janette provides leadership and expertise in: sustainable community development, sustainable urban design, ecosystems management, international watershed project and program development. She previously held leadership positions with an international environmental NGO active on a range of issues, including watershed management, ecosystems, endangered species, toxics and environmental education, including volunteer monitoring, and outreach through production of local television programs.

BIO: Since earning a Master's degree in Natural Resources Management, emphasizing environmental communication, Karen has worked for NGOs and local government agencies on environmental protection issues. During the past three years at CTIC, she has focused on building local-level partnerships and specialized training courses for watershed protection.

NAME: Paul Thomas

BIO: Paul has worked for 14 years within US EPA's Water Division, the last 8 years as Watershed Coordinator. He is the team lead for the Water Division's Watershed Team and also is USEPA Region 5 lead contact for the Watershed Initiative Program, which began last year.
